Events honoring the late civil rights leader include an awards banquet recognizing
business and individuals who exemplify King's dream, and community wide worship service.
10th Annual Chocolate Fantasia
Llano Estacado Winery and the
South Plains Chapter of the Texas Chefs' Association will host
Chocolate Fantasia on Saturday, January 27, 2007,
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit West
Texas Parkinsonism Society and the Chefs'
Scholarship Fund.
Chocolate
Fantasia is preceded by a chocolate competition consisting of a
showpiece accompanied by hors d'oeuvres or appetizer portions, and
judging will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Categories include
Chef, Food Service, Amateur and Student.
Admission: $40.00 per person (reservations required
- ticket quantities limited)
